Patrick Joshua is a Chinese-Indonesian director, producer, and cinematographer. He developed an interest in filmmaking as a child. Patrick began his career as a professional cellist for Indonesian National Youth Orchestra and a freelance cinematographer/ photographer. Filmmaking allows him to combine his passion for storytelling, music, and photography.
He later moved to the United States to pursue his dream of becoming a filmmaker and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & TV from Savannah College of Art Design.
Patrick is the founder of PJ Studio and a key member of Room 330 Productions. He has shot dozens of short films, commercials, TV pilots, and feature films in the US, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. He has also worked for studios like Netflix, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Studios, Apple Music, and Entertainment Weekly.
